All Things Local is independently owned and published by local resident and businesswoman, Karyn Milner:

"I launched All Things Local back in June 2007 as I wanted to do something positive for local communities in and around the area in which I live. Having spent over 30 years in advertising I feel passionate about All Things Local and about its value to both readers and advertisers alike.

The purpose of All Things Local is to serve the communities into which it is distributed and to support the local businesses that operate within or close to these communities. Studies show that people like to "buy locally" whenever they can and now the readers of All Things Local have a free reference guide to enable them to do just that.

Producing a magazine that is entertaining to read and is a useful source of information is both challenging and rewarding. Since its launch I have received overwhelming, positive feedback from both residents and businesses. (See testimonials).

I firmly believe in providing a high quality publication whilst trying to keep advertising costs as low as possible. I appreciate the need for local companies to have an affordable way to reach local people which in turn will have a positive impact on the local economy.

As the magazines have grown, I am now helped by a fabulous and dedicated freelance team covering sales, editorial, design and admin.
